Winding Brook The opening hole of the inward nine demands your attention right from the start. The winding brook bisects the fairway and forces most tee shots to favor the right side of the fairway which is shorter to carry. If you are taking this line be careful not to be so far right that you find yourself in the fairway bunker. Even after you navigate the difficult tee shot be careful to choose the right approach shot as the green falls dramatically if you are over the green.
